Description: The Fosh are a sentient avian species, able to fly at will. They are first mentioned in the Star Wars: The New Jedi Order series. The only Fosh mentioned in all the Star Wars books was the Jedi Knight Vergere.
The Fosh, as a species, never had a large population on their planet, preventing them from becoming an influential race, as humans are in the Star Wars universe.
